Note on contested claims: Canonical in Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Bibles, absent from the Hebrew canon and printed in the Protestant Apocrypha. The traditional attribution to Jeremiah's scribe is not historically sustainable. Berean carries it as Second Temple literature, not as Scripture.

A short book attributed to Jeremiah's secretary: a confession of national sin, a poem in praise of Wisdom, and a letter mocking the gods of Babylon.
