Discovered: At least fifteen Hebrew copies identified at Qumran

Note on contested claims: Canonical in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church; received as Scripture by no other major tradition. Berean carries Jubilees as important background literature from the Second Temple period, not as inspired Scripture, and its distinctive teachings must be tested against the apostles' doctrine.

A retelling of Genesis and early Exodus as a revelation given to Moses on Sinai, organised by cycles of forty-nine years. Fifteen copies were found at Qumran — more than most books of the Bible.
